Fitting Tank Sizes

The tank sizes that fit the stand models can be either perfect fits or smaller fits. A tank size with equal or smaller dimensions than the shelf it will be placed on will fit. The top shelf fits a larger aquarium size because the aquarium stand’s legs intersect with the bottom level.

20 x 10 model:

The top shelf of the 20 x 10 model will fit a 20 L x 10 W inches tank at most. Close fit tanks for this top shelf would be a standard 10 gallon leader tank which is approximately 20 L x 10 W inches. A smaller dimension tank will also fit this top shelf, such as a 5.5 gallon nano tank which is approximately 17 L x 9 W inches.

The bottom shelf of the 20 x 10 model will fit closely a 5.5 gallon tank which dimensions are 17 L x 9 W inches. A smaller tank can also be used, such as a 2.5 gallon nano tank with dimensions 13 L x 6 W inches.

24 x 8 model:

The top shelf of the 24 x 8 model will closely fit the Aqueon 13 Widescreen tank which dimensions are 24 L x 8 W inches. A 10 gallon tank or less will also fit on the top shelf.

The bottom shelf of the 24 x 8 model will closely fit a standard 10 gallon tank with dimensions 20 L x 10 W inches. A smaller tank such as a 5.5 gallon tank will also fit on the bottom shelf.

24 x 12 model:

The top shelf of the 24 x 12 model will closely fit a standard 15 gallon tank with dimensions 24 L x 12 W inches. A 20 gallon high tank with dimensions 24 L x 12 W inches will also fit. Another tank that will fit is the standard 25 gallon tank with dimensions 24 L x 12 W inches.

The bottom shelf of the 24 x 12 model will closely fit a standard 10 gallon tank. A smaller tank such as a 5.5 gallon tank will also fit.

30 x 8 model:

The top shelf of the 30 x 8 model will fit a standard 25 gallon tank with dimensions 24 L x 12 W inches. Another tank that will fit is the 20 gallon high with dimensions 24 L x 12 W inches. Really the 30 x 8 model cannot fit anything more than the 24 x 12 model on top due to its small width.

The bottom shelf of the 30 x 8 model will fit closely basically the same tanks as the top. The bottom shelf will fit a 25 gallon tank or a 20 gallon high tank, as well as any smaller tanks that are not 20 gallon long tanks.

30 x 12 model:

The top shelf of the 30 x 12 model will closely fit 20 gallon long tank with dimensions 30 L x 12 W inches. Another great fit is the standard 29 gallon tank with dimensions 30 L x 12 W inches. Besides these two, any smaller gallon tank can fit. This model can fit long versions of tanks very well.

The bottom shelf of the 30 x 12 model closely fits standard 15 gallon tanks with dimensions 24 L x 12 W inches. Any smaller tank will usually work including long and high versions of tanks.

The Aqueon Forge stand is easy to assemble. All that is needed is to slide the panels together.

If the bottom panel is not used for a second tank, it can b a great storage use. You can place any pet equipment you have on the bottom panel if it is not used.

Warranty

Aqueon offers a lifetime warranty on the Aqueon Forge aquarium stand as long as it is a manufacturer defect. This means you will not get a warranty if you:

1. Place a heavier tank than the recommended tank on the stand

2. Damage the stand by accident or intentionally

Basically Aqueon will replace the stand if the stand is damaged out of the box, or if the stand rusts over since Aqueon makes the claim that the stand is rust-resistant.

If you are unsatisfied with your Aqueon Forge stand out of the box, you can contact Amazon within 30 days of the initial shipment date to get a refund on the product in the form of original credit or Amazon gift card. To do this, log in to your Amazon account and go to orders to view the return form. Print the return slip, package the stand securely in a box with the return slip attached, and drop the box off at your local UPS store to ship back to Amazon. Your refund should be credited within one week.
